  1. Hi I’ve got the same issue with 2014 Octavia VRS 2.0 TSI. The level had dropped in the coolant reservoir after a 3hr journey back from Wales. EPD light on dash and engine limited to 4000 rpm. codes were: 16988 - Insufficient Engine Cooling / Coolant Flow POOB7 00 (2371 15462 - Control Circuit for Coolant Bypass Valve P2681 00 [104] - Open Circuit 15472 - Engine Coolant Level Sensor/Switch P2556 00 [039] - Electrical Malfunction I refilled the coolant tank, and cleared the codes. I went for a short drive round the block and noticed the temperature gauge is showing a wide variation above 90 degrees, changing rapidly up to about 120, then back to 90 again after a few seconds. Scanned fault codes again and still got: 15472 - Engine Coolant Level Sensor/Switch P2556 00 [039] - Electrical Malfunction I’ve read about possible thermostat housing / actuator failure, but could it be a coolant level and / or temperature sensor issue and if yes, which one?? Thanks nick
  2. Hi I couldn’t get the link on here to download from the Mega website, possibly as I’ve got a MacBook. It may still work ok with windows.... Pab567 was really helpful after I sent him my system details via a pm. Would recommend getting in touch with him if you have similar problems, to get the correct file for your car. Nick
  3. Many thanks to Pab567 updated the software and sound started to work straight away. Thanks for your help, very much appreciated 👍🏻
  4. This link doesn’t seem to work anymore. Can anyone send me the 0411 by PM or a new link? My Columbus has intermittent sound issue, software version is very old 0196 thanks nick
  5. Hi noticed another post suggests that the audio circuit board may be at fault and that it is a straightforward swap. does anyone have a part number or source of one of these? As far as I can tell the system is an MIB1 with the larger touch screen Columbus system. I can try to find more info on the system if that would help? thanks
  6. PS, I also did this update from the Skoda update portal, which was recommended when I put in my VIN code: MIB_High_ BT_ parrot_update_3_73_0 Thanks
  7. Hi All, This is my first post and apologies if this is covered elsewhere.... I've been trying to find a solution to the lack of sound from my Columbus infotainment system. The car is a 2014 Octavia VRS which I've owned for about 3 months. I did a maps update and installed the radio station logos recently. following the instructions from this forum which worked great. However, in the last couple of days the speakers have stopped working, first intermittently, and now completely gone. I've read on another thread that there is a firmware update ( 0411 ) that I can try, but the links don't appear to be working anymore. Does anybody have a copy they can PM me or a fresh link? Thanks in advance, Nick
