  1. Hello Erik99 Ive been using google maps and waze My Sat Nav has issues as well Its going in to be looked at thank you, its really good!
  2. Hello all, I'm leasing a Superb Estate 1 .5 tsi tech 2020 mark 3 model. Firstly, the car has exceeded all expectations, so very happy with that. However the sat nav seems to be occasionally miss directing, missing speed limits and sometimes giving random routes. Being a technophobe, I'm wondering if its me, or the software needs updating, or it requires a new memory thing? Can anyone advise please?
  3. I hope everyones welland safe during lockdown, Where can I get roof Bike bars for my estate, at reasonable cost?
  4. FINALLY-got my shiny new 1.5 tsi SE TECH dsg delivered today! Took it out for a quick spin down some urban and country roads. Duly impressed with comfort and smoothness of ride of this bad boy. After 6 years of driving vans tis is a real luxury.

  5. Great post this, some very practical and pragmatic advice. Thankyou
  6. Thank you all for your comments and wisdom. Ive FINALLY placed my order for a leased 1.5 tsi DSG SE Technology, in Quartz Grey, after must tooing and froing, due to there being no Skoda Estates in my previous spec , which was the 2.0 TDI SEL and agents trying to sell me a different car. On paper this one ticks all the boxes and is within budget. I should know tomorrow when it will be delivered.
  7. Thank you all for your comments, going by the information kindly supplied I will be going for the 2.0 tsi engine, for a bit of oomph when required?
  8. I had a VW Golf 1.4 tsi about 7 years ago, it spent more time in the garage than on the road. Interesting, most of my journeys will be short ones.
  9. About 10k a year, maybe a tad less. I test drove an L&K 2.0 diesel 190 ps and was amazed at the grunt.
  10. Hello, hope everyone is well and safe. I was going to lease a Skoda Superb Estate 2.0 TDI SEL 150 hp manual gearbox, just before lockdown. Then it happened and I postponed. My partners PCP Kia Sportage is being handed back in September, so Ill be getting a new lease Skoda for then. Ive been on the lease companies website earlier today and spotted one of their specials was a 2.0 TSI 190 HP DSG. This is also within my budget. I test drove an L&K one with the diesel engine, a while ago and was impressed with performance and comfort. I was just wondering what peoples experiences were with the different engines?
  11. Update to the update lol, the dealership inform me that they buy shedloads of these cars hence why they can price them so competitively. my local dealership cannot even come close on pricing. The car has been assembled and awaiting shipping to uk, ETA 19th March. The General manager at Skoda Liverpool claims that he is liasing with Select Leasing o make it happen asap.
  12. Here's an interesting update, if anyone's interested? My local dealership tell me the car I ordered ( 150 PS 2.0 TSI CR Superb Estate, won't be available for at least another 20 weeks! The brokers are claiming its not down to them the car was promised by the beginning of March and the dealership are saying the broker should not have promised that date. The broker has got back to me offering a refund of my brokers fee.
