  1. Have place it behind the mirror at the base with rear camera facing back problem now is which fuse to use the one suggested 29 is air bag fuse according to handbook? and which way the lead should fit in the fuse holder any replies welcome thank you.
  2. Hi just checked Fabia Mk 3 Handbook and it says that fuse 29 is for airbags anyone else checked it please

There would be if the rear camera was near the boot but mine is part of the main camera and points rearward so no interference as SOFO posts there is a suppressor fitted to lead near to camera .It just seems a big item to place on windscreen the garmin is tiny compared to this so may have to swap a big thank you for all replies and what a pleasant site and people for us Skoda lovers full of useful tips and hints I have already fitted an armrest thanks to this site

Thanks very much for the replies and pics the 522 has the rear view camera attached to it (New this year) and must be placed on drivers side and I think it must fit behind the mirror the rear camera just showing out.I heard it could invalidate your insurance if not placed correctly.It has to be in the range of the wipers to see out in rain etc https://www.express.co.uk/life-style/cars/1122395/dash-cam-uk-error-car-dashcam-placement#:~:text=It%20isn't%20illegal%20to,free%20from%20obstructions%20to%20vision.%E2%80%9D ?
  6. Has anyone fitted or had this fitted to their fabia windscreen ,because of the rear looking camera it has to be fitted on the drivers side is this legal and could it be a distraction.Thanks for any replies
