DSG & autohold/handbrake
Ah I see, looks like Skoda have discontinued them for some reason.

DSG & autohold/handbrake
Going by the new car configurator the 1.0l only comes as manual, I don't know though, if that's always been the case.

DSG & autohold/handbrake
Did the 1.0 come with DSG? I'm sure I read somewhere it is manual only.

DSG & autohold/handbrake
Yes the Peugeot one isn't an auto-hold, just a short duration hill hold.

DSG & autohold/handbrake
My current (manual) Peugeot 2008 GT has hill hold, it lasts about 2 seconds... I wonder why they even bothered implementing it really.

Which DSG gearbox for MY 23 1.5 SE L
Correct, they paid part up front, with the remainder at changeover, although going forward, anything new will be £250 only (like it used to be)

Which DSG gearbox for MY 23 1.5 SE L
Fair enough, it fits my needs though, and with GCB & £750 next car advance, it just slides into my self imposed £1k limit (I refuse to spend anymore on something I don't get to keep)

Which DSG gearbox for MY 23 1.5 SE L
I might if buying as a purchase, it would be a Motability vehicle.

Which DSG gearbox for MY 23 1.5 SE L
I'll be buying new and only keeping for 3 years, so I ought to be ok.

Which DSG gearbox for MY 23 1.5 SE L

DSG & autohold/handbrake
I'm not worried about start/stop I'll likely have that off, with the car in drive (after autohold has done its thing), will applying the handbrake kill the brake lights but still leave the DSG clutches disengaged ready to go when I hit the throttle? Without doing the P > N > Rev > Drive thing

DSG & autohold/handbrake
I'm shortly going to get a new DSG car (always only owned manuals until now) I understand at things like traffic lights you are just meant to press your foot on the brake once you've stopped which engages autohold at which point you can remove your foot and it will only move once you hit the throttle again. Which sounds great vs on a manual, going into neutral, engaging handbrake. Except... I don't want to be one of 'those' who sits at stops with all 3 brake lights on like a noob. (also contravenes part of the highway code) dazzling everyone. So I guess I either go to Neutral and engage handbrake (unclear if it will auto engage or if I need to put it on) Or what would happen if I leave it in drive, engage autohold, and then put the handbrake on. Would it stall the car, like on a manual if you left it in gear and put the handbrake on and released the clutch? Would it disengage autohold, and switch to handbrake, but turn off the brake lights?

Reversing camera dynamic guide lines
Just be careful there's options now on the configurator for the reversing camera, it's still unclear if the bog standard one has dynamic lines at all. There are another two options for trailers and the like.
-
personalisation/ user account
Hmm I was going to get the personalisation (it's like a £35 option) but if it doesn't remember anything, what is the point.

personalisation/ user account
I've heard reference to the electric seat memory being used to store other details, so if no electric seats... no memory.

MY2021 SE L now has 19 inch wheels
Same re form over function, I'd guess though that SE L dampers are softer than the sportline (which has the same wheels) so ride may be better due to being softer.
-
MY2021 SE L now has 19 inch wheels
I'd also add this is the last year before the facelift, it may be there's a surplus of those wheels they are trying to get rid off.

Automatic Braking
If you set it to min sensitivity will it at least remember that when next restarted?
-
MY2021 SE L now has 19 inch wheels
I don't mind wheels with bigger sidewalls, as the ride tends to be less crashy, but seeing as the 19's are now standard... Maybe it's a run-out thing with next year having the facelift.

MY2021 SE L now has 19 inch wheels
Previously they were on 18's as standard. Does anyone have a SE L with oem 19's on who can comment on how the ride is? My current Kuga is on 18's and it's lovely but 19 inch Kugas are quite crashy for comparison.

Orders for a MY21 Karoq?
Yes you're right now, when I looked though it wasn't.

Orders for a MY21 Karoq?
I've been looking at the configurator for the last few months, the new website has options that the old didn't have, plus those 19 inch wheels on the SE L, I'd guess the new site is still in a state of flux and it will be relesed to the skoda uk confgurator when it's ready. Hope the wheels stay they were an expensive option pre MY 21 The new owners manual seems to indicate the basic reversing camera is staying the same grrrr, don't want to pay an extra £500+ just for dynamic guidance lines.
