It seems that Iam considered to be the main instigator of a major problem for Colin D, and that is the accusations that are flying around of him being able to read members pm's. I did in fact give him permission to read mine during a recent conversation, if that is what he would like to do. It seems that this info. of this ability of his, has been taken out of proportion now, and I must ask ALL of you to stop pointing fingers and discussing this matter on a open forum or in fact in any other form. Please respect this request I hereby openly apologise for any ill feeling that has been created by anything I may have said to anyone on this matter, but mainly to the hard working Colin D who I have nothing but respect for. I'm sorry things have come to this, but I'd like to say farewll to you all and thanks for all the great banter that I have enjoyed over the last 53 weeks. Please cancel my account forthwith. Can I just put the record straight here please. The facts...not some made up story...are that Geoff started the site up on his own, and it is correct that it's membership by recommendation/invite only. However, can I say that I had nothing to do with its development whatsoever, and it came as much of a suprise to me as everyone else in here. May I also add, that I AM NOT his 'chief mod',or anything else to do with the running of the forum...I'm simply a member, that is all. I haven't been asked to be a mod or help run the site in any shape or form Colin

You suggesting that I'm possibly a bit of a plonker Mr Ross? :confused: As a footnote, it's having the weight bobbins fitted to the handbrake, new solenoids (I think) for the front window electric winders to stop them swapping over, and a new heater control fitted when it goes in, probably early April..apart from these little niggles, it's been a total success and pinnacle of reliability..well done Skoda!

Mine came on at 14000 miles...flashes at me everyday. on 17 now, now doubt they'll reset it at 20 when it goes in for its service. Will probably start flashing again at 23. What is the point of it. Do Skoda and the rest of them think we are all too thick to read the mileometer?

Highly recommend being daft me old twozzer...keeps me sane as my signature says! Keep knockin' them back and stuff problems. Personally speaking, I'm havin' a couple of sniffters of Asdas own 10 yr old at the mo', to help me sleep...but am very partial to the odd tinny now and again...more now then again come to think about it!:P

Roy, me old whiskey ridden trout. The amount you seem to be knockin' back, I very much doubt you'll notice the difference between night and day, never mind single or blended!! The 10 yr old from asda IS IMO a very tasty little number. Bought it for Andy's birthday actaually...when's your's, so I can go and buy you one too..hic;)
