Well I now know from the good people on this forum to check it /top up if needed regularly now , and I’ll get it changed twice per year , spark plugs will need changing next year too

I must’ve got lucky, she’s no oil burner thank god

Done over 500 miles and been blasting her in sport mode down the road sat and Sunday and still on the maximum 👍

Just been having some fun with her in sport mode for the first time 😛

Maybe it’s too soon to judge but here’s an update- filled her up to the max with oil on Monday, been driving her quite hard lots of overtaking on motorways and levels still haven’t moved yet, like I said -maybe too early to judge

If she is how long have we got together roughly?

But surely she can’t be an oil burner at 65000 miles with a fssh can she?

Yes 500 miles, I bought her in Somerset then had a 3 hour drive home and then 2 days later a trip to Newcastle and back so... but I feel the motorways is where she’s at home, oh I finished work at 5am this morning when it was about -1 degrees , selected the heated seats and within 5 mins was in paradise!

Bought it on the 16th of this month from an independent who assured me it would be serviced before I picked it up! So yes I should’ve checked the oil before I drove it away but assumed all was good, He gave me a 3 month warranty I’ve done about 500 miles in her since and topped her up with 1 litre of Castrol today which she seems most grateful for

From a garage which should’ve serviced it like he said he was going to!

Well I’ll be damned, the level was right on the minimum !

Will check it first thing !
