Hi guys. I’ve got exactly the same problem with my stereo unit after having a flat battery with the message on screen “source activated searching for swl image”. Tried rebooting it and can hear HDD spinning but then goes back to this message. It’s a Superb Mk2 2015 Elegance. Is it worth trying to do a firmware update and if so which one? The solution for Raymond of exchanging unit, is that buying a brand new unit or second hand? obviously going to be difficult to sort out with the lockdown! @Rustynuts Help🙏
