  1. Mines taking roughly 3 weeks to drain fully car’t see any sighs of we’re it’s coming from

Hi I have a 2013 Skoda octavia vrs estate iv got this dreaded coolant loss problem iv had the cambelt and water pump changed twice and the problem is still there iv changed the expansion tank cap as advised my mechanic still loosing coolant iv checked the radiator for leaks car’t find anywere dripping iv traced all the hoses back for tears nothing iv taken it to different garage who all say they car’t find a problem with it. It takes roughly 3 weeks to fully drain any advice would be greatly appriciated as I’m at the point now we’re I’m thinking shall I just get rid of it.

  5. Regarding the date of the old tyres the only numbers I could find is 29/18 in relation to a date of manufacture
  6. I’m a joiner don’t know if you could class that as an essential worker I’ll give that ago put the front new ones on the back see if it helps
  7. Iv has the bearing’s checked they couldn’t find anything wrong with them
  8. Okay I think I’ll just change them then as proberly won’t be able to find out if they are the original ones been told The f1 tyres are best for these cars with road noise
  9. Here are a pic of the condition of the back tyres on inspection I found a puncture repair don’t know if they could be the cultprate?
  10. Well when I say new tyres I mean I only changed two as there didn’t seem any Were on the other two soo I put the new tyres on the front and the old on the back so I couldn’t say how many miles the old tyres have don’t but they don’t look worn atall and it’s a 2013 modle
  11. I will have a look now and get back to you on that mate regarding moving the wheels back to front I did that when I changed the tyres on the car didn’t seem to make any differences tho
  12. But Thankyou for the advise on the humming noisie question. the only thing on the rear tyres I can see is abit of cracking on the edge there Avon tyres

Yeh I understand that I will just have to wait. and listen guys I didn’t want to cause any confrontation I just wanted help if I came across otherwise it wasn’t my intention Going off track here I don’t know how many other people have mk3 Skoda but at 70mph there is a horrible humming noise iv had it at the garage and they Car’t find anything mechanical wrong with it but it’s very annoying so any advise on this would be great thanks
