  1. Hi, I have been to a garage and they have scanned the car, for anyone else having the same issues, the error code found was "U108E00 – Control unit in steering wheel: No communication" which indeed was a broken clock spring which has now been replaced and all is good. Thanks
  2. Hi All, My Skoda Rapid 2016 TDI suddenly showed an error bag error message on the dash whilst driving and I also all the controls on the steering wheel including the horn has stopped working, basically anything on the movable bit on the steering wheel. I took it to a local garage to check and they say the drivers airbag maybe faulty but could not test it without taking to a Skoda dealer to run a diagnostic test, which I have booked it in for next week, but I am not convinced the error is actually the airbag as why have all the other controls stopped working. The car was making what I can only describe as creaking when I turned the steering shortly before the error light, which I assumed was the car interior warming up, which it does not do now, so may be a coincidence. Has anyone had similar issues with this car and what was the outcome? Thanks
