  1. It's annoying,Anton, isn't it. I can't drive at the moment as I am waiting for a back operation so can't do anything to the car. Trouble is it's draining the battery slowly. Guess I will have to disconnect the battery for now.
  2. Seems those joints aren't very good. My son owned the car and also had the rev counter and speedo stop working randomly. Car is sitting idle at the moment so another job on the list 🙁
  3. Hi all. I have another quirky issue with the 53 plate 1.4 auto. I have noticed that when the car is running, the airbag warning light is lit very faintly and when I switch the engine off, that plus the rear foglight warning lights are permanently glowing very faintly. Is this a known problem or has anyone got any ideas where I might start looking for the fault?
  4. Thanks Chris_19. Unfortunately none in the local scrapyard around here but I will keep trying. May just get them off eBay as I need both and seeing as I still can't drive, awaiting spinal surgery, I have plenty of time yet 🙁
  5. Thanks for your help TMB 👍
  6. Hi, first post in here so please be gentle with me. I have just been given a 2003 Fabia automatic which as lots of the Fabia typical problems. First one is to sort out the broken front electric window regulators. Any advice on which of the many suppliers make the best quality replacements? Is it better to buy one with the metal carrier attached or just the regulator on its own? Annoyingly mine has the carrier riveted on so I need to buy a pop riveter too.
