Getting access to fusebox - lefthand drive
Not sure if anyone needs it, but i removed the two screws in the buttom of the dash. After that i removed the 3 screws for the airbag and put it to the side, and finally unclipped the fusebox. This time i could pull it downwards while pulling a little in the lower dash, and managed to put in my plugs.

Getting access to fusebox - lefthand drive
Does anyone have a guide or any kind of documentation on how to get access to the fusebox placed under the steering wheel (Left sided car) ?. I know there are 3 clips holding it in, but some of the rest of the dash is holding it in, and i'm unsure what needs to be unscrewed to get access to it. There is an knee airbag installed, so i didn't attempt any trial and error around the lower dash as i didn't wan't to play around with it if it was possible without.

Fitting towbar - wiring kit
550£ seems very fair which i would have accepted on the spot without hesitation (~650€) :). I made an inquiry to Skoda and also trough another webpage to get an offer from independent workshops. All of the independents listed their offer with the same items, no extra cooler or fan is listed in any of them. Their offer is devided into: detachable hook (~650€) wiring loom (~270€) Coding (~90€) labour (450€). Seeing the kit i linked to for less than 500€ including wiring delivered to my door from germany it seems they all take quite a markup on the parts alone (its not listed which oem manufactur they use). Regarding the need for extra cooling, i tried searching and it seems its based on the country if vw requires it. Will try to follow up on that, thanks for the tip.

Fitting towbar - wiring kit
Hi, After being quoted ~1500euro for fitting a towbar, i decided to look into fitting it myself. For the hitch to be working like OEM i can understand a wiring kit is required to make trailer stability assist available and have pdc disabled when a trailer is hooked (not sure what else is different, i know car should be coasting when a trailer is hooked as well) i was checking westfalia and found this detachable towbar kit; https://www.westfalia-automotive.com/de/en/product-overview/towbar/skoda-octavia-iii/305419900113-869/ its stated on the product page that a wiring kit is included (305418300113). Checking the details in it, its a CAN connected wiring kit (and listed as vehicle specific) Would this wiring kit be sufficient, or will i be missing anything compared to a wiring loom supplied by Skoda? The car is a Octavia 2,0TSI 140kw, 2019 without any prep for towbar. I have obdeleven already for coding the car when its been fitted.

2.0 TDI DQ381 “slipping” in 2nd when driving soft
If you live near Copenhagen - i'm happy to take you in a trip in my 190hp petrol so you can compare the slippines. I'm sure i feel somekind of slippines or something "odd", but nothing that has been frustrating or causing issues for me at all - it feels completely different in Sport mode for me with no slippines / "odd" feeling however.

Octavia III Facelift
From what i read there is different suspension setups for the different engines/versions. Torsionbeam and multilink on the rear - not sure which cars got what installed, but could be this was what you felt?

Obdeleven cornering fog lights
Me neither, and i could see from the topspec that it is indeed possible to have cornering foglights. Do you have LED in your fog lights from fabric? Pretty sure my "Full led" headlights didn't include LED in the fog lights.

Wiring guide for retrofitting front pdc
Are anyone aware of a wiring guide for retrofitting front pdc sensors? currently i have the 4 rear ones. i found multiple kits for retrofitting front pdc, but none of them seem to include any wiring instruction (as in what route the cables go, and what plugs they need to be fitted in).
