  1. Ok, so bought a new Thermostat, housing and o ring from Skoda at £88. Had it fitted today and seems to be a lot better. See how it goes. Thanks guys👍
  2. Thanks guys think I’ll plump for OEM from Skoda with new housing. I’ll update once fitted👍
  3. Thanks Stonekeeper, my only worry is that it has NEVER dropped in the slightest previously and I’ve had the car 6 years, so somethings changed. I’m reading car will use more fuel and it’s not healthy over time for the engine?? I’ve also read on hear people have changed thermostat and sensor with no change so was hoping someone had a succesful fix with the same issue🤞
  4. So I have a 2006 Fabia VRS which has ALWAYS warmed up to 90 degrees (halfway) and never moved regardless. However intermittently last couple of months but every day for last 3 days once the car reaches 90 degree running temp if i put the heater blower on the running temp drops down to around 60 degrees (near bottom) I turn the blowers off and set to cold and it will rise back to normal at 90 degrees and stay constant until I put blowers on again then this just repeats. Would really appreciate any advice from anyone who has bottomed this issue out. I’ve seen a few threads but nothing with agreed fix. TIA guys!!
  5. Not done the fronts or driver side back. Everywhere else is bone dry. I can see water in the rubber seal at the bottom on the back door which lead me to think that’s the door with the issue. Might try to seal passenger front if no joy. i plan to dry it out and park facing downhill and see if there is any difference. so frustrating!!
  6. Hi TMB, Thanks for the rely. I removed the panel around 6 Months ago and could see somebody had previously tried this repair with silicone. I cleaned off what I could and used a black gutter repair rubber sealant going right up where you’re diagram shows. I’m still getting plenty of water in the passenger rear footwell😩. I might try to remove it all and then try to reseal it but it’s stuck like s@&t to a blanket. would you recommend just a Standard silicone? im tempted to just take it to a garage but some peeps are saying there’s still let water in. If anyone in Lancashire has had a successful fix I’d be more than happy to pay to sort mine. luckily I suppose it’s only the one side!
  7. Hi, I have the same problem and tried the panel off and silicon sealed up and around but this hasn’t sorted mine😩😩. Is yours still dry?
