Hi, Good afternoon, I hope everybody is fine there after the peak surge of Covid -19 pandemic .I've been using Skoda cars for a long time .Now I've Skoda Octavia MK2 2007 model L&K DSG diesel .I used to replace my transmission oil every 25k miles even though Skoda recommended replacing it every 40k miles. But unfortunately when I replaced my Transmission oil last time ,my Mechatronics failed with just 20 miles.So my mechanic was working on it and trying to find Mechatronics. If anybody has any contact ,let me know please. Hi, I would like to buy skoda Octavia MK1 2007 model automatic 1.9L rider AT (4 speed torque converter gearbox).The odo 87km and show room serviced car as well as well maintained. So I had manual transmission and not seen much automatic transmission. Requesting your opinion about the car. How reliable the gear box .Please guide me any of them are owned this one

Hi, I'm owned Skoda octavia 2007 model L&I automatic. Its 1.9L TDI and I have found there was leakage in EGR valve. My Mechanic suggested to block EGR by doing programming instead of replacing it.They are doing for all higher end cars like Audi, VW Skoda ,Mercedes,BMW etc .So request you to give me an suggestions. Please share your thoughts

Hi, This is for your kind opinion about blocking EGR valve for my skoda octavia MK2 .I've seen a small oil sweating on the valve. I ask this about my Mechanic. Who have told me ,its not an major leakage and its just an initial stage .So when ever there is severe leakage, we could block the EGR through scanning machine. They are now doing for all VW cars including Q7 and other Skoda's .My Mechanic doing works for all premium cars like VW,Skoda ,Mercedes ,Land rover BMW,Jaguar & etc I would like to know about your experiences in this case
