  2. Just an update. Got the engine running after 1 hour of looking after a electrical fault. One of the fuses where bad. Changed it and the engine started. Then the fuse broke again. The engine ran only on 2 cyl, changed a damaged coil. Changed the fuse. Engine started and is running good. Tested the car today for a 18mile trip and everything where fine. Guess my mum would be happy now. hahahaha.
  3. When I try to start the car, I cannot hear any sound from the fuel pump. I guess it's lack of power. Can anyone tell me what these wires are? I was thinking of trying to ein the fuel pump directly from the battery just to test. But need to know where to hook up the wires.
  4. Hi My mum has a Skoda Fabia Mk1, one day it just stopped. It got towed to a mechanic and he told me he thought it was the engine ECU. He didn`t have time to troubleshoot anymore, so I got the car towed to my garage. Anybody know where the engine ECU are located? The mechanic says he have tested the fuel pump and fuel pump relay. Is it a common thing that the ECU ****s up in these kind of cars?
