Just for your information. I was able to to perform TBA. The error could be erased for some time if you do idle RPM adjustment in VCDS. (I think it was Select ->Engine -> Adaption.) ( My Skoda talks UDS protocol). Then you need to exit the engine menu and go back again to starting page, then return (Slelect -> Engine) Make sure there are no fault codes and do the Throttle Valve adaption. Once the P1559 error was gone I started trubleshooting the Throttle body. I taught the error could be somewhere else since the error occurred with both throttle bodies I had (wiring, corroded ECU plugs etc). In the end it turned out to be faulty DC motor. So I combined the two faulty throttle bodies to make one good one. Next time it fails im gonna just buy new one.

I have Skoda Octavia 1.2 TSI from 2011. The error actually appeared few moths back and I replaced the throttle body with new one (used original) and prefomed a Thorttle body alignment (TBA). All went well until about 4 months later suddenly the ESP light and EPC icons light up on the dashboard. The car enters a limp mode where you barely can maintain speed. I have been driving the car using a Bluetooth OBD. By clearing the fault I can accelerate again until the fault appears again.
