Hi, so this is an information post. My radiator fans were not spinning when I switch the air conditioning on (2010 superb 2.0 tdi dsg with climatronic) the car is not overheating either. The air conditioning worked great, nice and cold when driving. I had the a/c refrigerant level and pressure checked and were fine. I replaced the radiator as it was faulty, but the new radiator was still not spinning. I have also checked the fuses in the cabin and in the engine compartment e-box (blade fuses and strip fuses) and they all seem good. So I replaced the a/c pressure switch situated at he front of the a engine bay on the left (circled). You will need a 17mm crow foot spanner (pictured) attached to a long extention to get the old pressure switch off and the a/c system won't need degassed as it's on a schrader valve. Fans spin now and a/c works perfectly👍👍👍 VID_20210726_175436.mp4

Yeah think that's my next step, I'll have to try to get under the car again😕 -
Hello. As the title says, my radiator fans are not spinning when I switch the air conditioning on (2010 superb 2.0 tdi dsg with climatronic) the car is not overheating either. The air conditioning works great, nice and cold when driving. I've have had a/c refrigerant level and pressure checked and they're fine. So I bought a new radiator fan from autodoc and fitted it...but still not spinning. I have also checked the fuses in the cabin and in the engine compartment e-box (blade fuses and strip fuses) and they all seem good. Is there anything else I need to check before I take it to an a/c mechanic? Thanks 👍

No worries. Remenber to replace the speed sensor as well bud as it'll most likely be damaged👍 -
**Update** All sensors and abs control module were fine, it was the rear wheel bearing magnetic ring that was broken. I fitted a new wheel bearing and all dash light are out👍👍

No bud, I think its part of the abs control unit as its the ec1 unit. Mine is going into the garage tomorrow. If yours is not the ec1 unit it might be under the center console between the gear shift and handbrake lever. -

Hi, can anyone help me with the location of the longitudinal acceleration sensor Skoda superb 2.0TDI CR 170 DSG SE please. Had the glove box out but still can't find it. Do I need to have a look at the steering column area? Thanks in advance 👍

Hello, is there any advice I can get for these codes from carista obd on my superb 2.0TDI CR 170 DSG SE. They are... 01316 - ABS Control Module: No Signal/Communication 01279 - Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor (G251): Implausible Signal I'll include screenshot but as far as I can see this points to an ABS control module fault?? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
