Well problem solved the tyre was flat yesterday morning but the garage couldn't find anything wrong, as the tread was getting low I decided to replace it, at least I know it works properly.

My car is a w rated tyre car, front are y and one of the back is y and the other w could this be the problem the w rated one is the newest and the other back one (the y rated one) is half worn ?

I'm having the same since a blow out Friday, they replaced the back tyre and now after they have warmed up the tpm goes off. Each tyre has the exact pressure, wondering if the tyre rating or make makes a difference?

anyone installed anything that requires going into the car from the engine area?

Hi I need some help in installing a laser park pro, i have found where the wires come into the car on the passenger side but dont think there is enough room to fit what i need through there, plus difficult from the engine area. I have found a cap on the same area as the door switch wires goes through so am thinking of using there as nothing seems to go near there that could damage the wires. I want to put the buttons and led in the cigarette ash tray (drill the holes into it etc) as this will be easy to replace when i sell the car and also hides away nicely since i cant find a way into the air vent where i originally wanted to put the led and buzzer. lastly which wire is ignition on and which one is earth as i want to attach to these to so that when the ignition is off the unit is off. If anyone has had experience of putting one of these in there car i be grateful. many thanks in advance

keeping the revs between1500 and 2000 rpm helps and changing gear before 3,000 as its at 3,000 it starts to drink the fuel a bit more.

I've been told to check the balast by someone who had similar problems on a Renault. How do I check the balasts? What am I looking for

I drive home every night in the dark so yes they used a lot. Another question which screw hole is for adjusting height and which way to put up the height? Lastly is this the same for both sides? I have vagcom which I've used to recalibrate the settings but for some reason they have dropped lower.

hi drmike where did you source them from? i dont particularly want to go back to stealers as they couldnt even put the headlight back in correctly.

How long should these bulbs actually last? mine seem to be having small black spots within the light and dont seem to be as bright. if i go over a bump the n/s one flickers but looks fine with them on stationary. Can these also be turned upside down as i have heard that helps??? also where can i source some decent ones from if it is a case of replacing them and how much would i be looking at? many thanks in advance.

Just had my car back from mot and service today, 38k miles 2nd service and need to confirm some things. 1. does brake fluid get changed or is this charged as extra? 2. pollen filter is this changed on the second one as i had it changed on the first one? 3. spark plugs 2.0 fsi engine says in book 60k but the garage said its 40k and showed me on screen. All in all £467 :0 already been quoted for 60k which will be 220 quid for service, 350 something for cambelt and an extra 100 for water pump (after i mentioned the water pump known problem). certainly wont be going back and will be using vag com on it in a minute to see what else hasnt been done (usually head lamp callibration reset). There is a new independent vag garage opened nearby which i will be taking the car to in future as no doubt they be cheaper, so just wondering what £60k service prices people are getting as well as the 40k which i had today. On another note, Ross will remember checking my suspension, sure enough they looked at it today and claimed nothing is wrong with it, however the nsf now seems to be at the correct height and they said there isnt anything wrong with it? hmmmmm me thinks they told porkies.
