Thanks both. Managed to get a 57k miler Bora steering rack in top nick for £40 so issue resolved. Next on my list is the dreaded ABS sensor on the fritz

I have done abit of searching but cant find an old post that i read before :( Current steering rack has gone so needing to replace. brand new is pretty expensive so leading me to either go 2nd hand or attempt the TT rack change! If I swap for standard, will any mk4 platform rack fit the 4x4? What was the list for converting to a TT rack? Someone will probably have the link to the post i cant find Thanks in advance!
