Hello, just signed up after many years as a guest. I bought my 52 plate Fabia 1.4 16v estate 10 years ago, on 67,000 miles. Now 200 miles shy of 168000, with 3 continental driving holidays, 2 booze cruises (taking advantage of that load space 😀) countless staycations, 2 house moves and the usual taxi services a dad provides the teenager (now 21). It’s had a new clutch, a gear box refurb, a new fuel pump, so many ignition coils, but i love it. For longevity it has easily beat my Volvo 940 GL (a 2.3 litre, 1992 saloon, also brilliant, but sadly no longer here). Anyway with your tips and friendship i hope to get this old Skoda past 20 years/200000 miles...at least. And hello again 😀
