Matrix light on superb 3
The bar is installed behind the air intake, so you don’t see it if you don’t know it’s there. It was hard taking good pictures with the high beam on. But you get an idea of how it looks.

Matrix light on superb 3
I’m no genius, but I’ve have the same issue with the dark field between low and high beam (as I assume you do). I’ve searched every forum I have found, and have had the car at the shop two times. The answer from Skoda is that the beams cannot be adjusted individually… My solution was to install a LED-bar, because I was going crazy when I used the high beam.

LED Matrix highbeam adjustment
Då är vi tydligen två svenskar med samma problem, och med samma snygga färg på våra Superber om jag tolkar ditt användarnamn rätt 😁 Sorry about the Swedish. Apparently two Swedes with the same issue, and the same poor reaction from our dealers. I still find it very strange that there isn’t some way to lower the high beam.

LED Matrix highbeam adjustment
Hi! Now the high beam is used a lot when driving. I have noticed that the high beam aims too high, meaning that a dark line appears between dipped beam and high beam. Has anyone else noticed this? Attaching a photo. Look at the right side, and you'll see what I mean. When talking to my shop, they say, after consulting Skoda, that there is no way to adjust only the high beam. I find this hard to believe. A fried of mine had the same issue, but worse, with his brand new Kia Optima last winter (I know, another brand), but they managed to adjust the high beam. When looking under the hood, theres only one adjustment screw, wich affects both beams. Any VDCS wiz that has an idea?

Thanks! The colour is the only thing my wife decided. I was into Business Grey. But her choice was the right one. Regarding tyres, I always get a little sad when I change from summer to winter tyres. The car becomes ugly. But that’s the way it is when the winter is coming.

Build subwoofer in iV Hatchback
Any thoughts? I did some testing this afternoon. With frequency tracks from Spotify, I found out what I suspected. The system is cutting the bass at approximately 40hz, the front woofers is muted below this hertz. My conclusion is that the only way to get a subwoofer working, is to find the original wiring, because there is no bass signal below 40hz in the iV sound system.

Build subwoofer in iV Hatchback
After a couple of months with the Superb L&K iV, I must say that I’m very impressed with my first ŠKoda. My biggest concern is the non-Canton sound system. Good sound is important to me, and from what my kind of experienced ears are telling me, Škoda has removed the subwoofer without any other adjustments. When listening to music with deep bass, sometimes the bass disappears, somewhat like the system is cutting it off. Because of this I’ll start planning a subwoofer installation. There is a thread in the Octavia section about changing the sub, witch leads to two questions: 1 Does anyone now if the iV has the original wiring to the sub beneath the battery? If so, is there a wiring scheme to identify the cables? I’m mainly interested in the signal, with the battery so close by power is the easy part. 2 With VDCS, is it possible to activate the Canton subwoofer settings in the head unit? It would be nice to control the sub without any external controls (beside the amplifier itself).

19” wheels road noise
I have a Superb iV with the same rims. My tires are Pirelli Cinturato P7’s. Had the same tires, but 18”, on my previous Passat 190TDI 4Motion. I think that the Passat was quieter regarding road noise, but not much difference. In my opinion the P7’s are a pretty quiet tyre, but then my experience isn’t that big - here in Sweden the main focus and the money is spent on winter tires, and it is pretty common to go budget when it comes to summer tires.

If you are asking me, I placed my order right befor corona lockdown, 10th of March I think. It was produced 5 June, and I got it 26 June. My first delivery date, when I ordered, was late May, early June. So about one month later because of corona. Best car I ever had. The only thing I’m missing from the Passat is the feeling of a car that wants to be driven. The superb is a more relaxed experience, I think even more with the hybrid. It’s really fast when you floor it, but you seldom do. Got a wall charger installed today, so even faster charging is up ahead.

The alloys is called Trinity here in Sweden and comes as standard with the L&K trim. I’m totally in love this far.
