Superb iV
Thank you for your post John, The car does have the A5 camera, and I have been posting on here to see if anyone can enable the TSR system. So far i cant find anyone in the Uk who can do this as yet. It may take a few months before someone figures this out.

Has anyone ordered a podpoint charger yet? Did your dealer assist you with the order? Any indication of realistic time-scales for installation?

Superb iV
I have the iV SEL. I did not spec traffic Sign Recognition, and i was not pleased that despite Skoda Marketing boasting about Predictive cruise control, on the skoda Superb IV, they omitted to inform buyers that without the TSR option, (£90), you do not get the Predictive Cruise control. I am not pleased, in my books this is MISSELLING! To add insult to injury there is no way you can add the TRS function after taking delivery fo the car. By the way has anyone worked out how to enter the post code into the Admunsen Satnav?

VCDS options on Superb III
Has anyone managed to make sign assist work yet ? Will it also enable the Predictive cruise control function if the car already has Adaptive cruise control enabled?

Fergard, are you also able to enable the Traffic sign recognition on a FL Superb?

Newbie here but 3rd Skoda
The Hybrid as a company car makes the most sense. It drives very well. I am sure you will enjoy it. Definitely worth the wait.

The hybrid can do just over 30 miles on electric. With the battery depleted to around 10% in hybrid mode you only get around 40 miles per gallon. My daily commute will be less than 30 miles daily so as long as I charge my battery every night I can stay fully electric. I have found that even with the battery fully charged and set to hybrid mode it will primarily use the electric mode unless you over-ride this with a manual setting. Unless you regularly charge your battery you will not match the fuel economy of a diseal. My previous superb was the greenline version with the very efficient 1.6 diesel engine. 65 miles per gallon on a long run. Miles per gallon figures can be misleading unless you factor in the cost of charging. Bearing in mind the higher cost of a hybrid, the fuel savings will mean at best you break even compared to the cost of a diesel and its associated fuel costs. You are really paying for the feel good factor of being greener, not for a real world financial reason.

The dealer managed to find one from the dealer network. So the wait was only dictated by the lock down. That was one of the reasons I did not specify any options, but now I wish I had specified the TRS even if it meant waiting. The L&K will have this as standard so you will be able to enjoy the new Pedicitive Cruise Control function. Definately worth the wait.

Superb MKIII owners register
Picked up my new car yesterday, SEL IV. I regret not specifying the TSR function as it appears to also enable the Predictive Cruise control function. I could not find information relating to this before placing my order at the dealership and even Skoda Customer service could verify this. I am hoping i can find a way to get a software upgrade from a third party to enable these functions for me. The dealership are unable to assist. Any advice will be most welcomed.
