Summer, we have summer? Last looked at home weather and it said +1!! Says he in a very pleasant +30c in NE Borneo. 🤣

Do you have an original apple cable? Found it was the only cable that worked 100% reliably in my car.

ISTR one oddity with the European cover, any claim the first 2 years was billed to Skoda (or whoever pays the bill), the third year was on the basis of “you settle the bill and reclaim back from Skoda (or whoever reimburses you)”. I thought a bit odd at the time but didn’t pay much attention as wasn’t planning to head overseas in the car. Now car is out of warranty no longer an issue.

It’s pretty flat, with the hatch open the RHS is still a little raised. But once the tailgate is closed it holds the load cover in place nicely and no view through the back is lost. 👍

There are ways of fitting a full spare in the 4x4 boot. Not orthodox but works for us. 👍

Strange, had similar with my non-ACC CC, it just wasn’t there when tried the switch. Stopped, shut the car down fully then started up, then all was well with the world, CC was back. Was -5c, might be a cause, might just be a ghost in the machine. 👍

I’ve used one of these rods to change wheels, they are a great help. However the wheel still rotates around it so going to get a second, then the wheel will be held in the right position to put the other 3 bolts in place. That’s the only thing that’s better on my past LRs cf Skippy, they had hub bolts and wheel nuts which makes changing way easier, even when the wheel weighs 34kgs.

Re prices holding their own, not any more.

Does BBC iPlayer work via CarPlay?

Had this last week. Rebooted the system by holding in the power button until the Skoda logo appeared and the system rebooted. CarPlay worked straight away.

Just had a look at one of mine, rather handily sitting under the stairs in their covers as winter set is now on. They’ve done 10,730 miles according to the Road Trip app, about the same age and have only been used in “summer”, and when not in use cosseted indoors. Sitting at 5mm tread, can’t remember what the new tread level was but ain’t going to be long until they need replaced.😢 PS Just clocked 8mm tread at start so another 7,200 miles left on them.
