Just checked with the dealership and they put 0W 20 oil into the car when they checked it. They have recommended that I use that in the future. Skoda UK got it completely wrong!!

I bought the car from a dealer on Saturday. The car registered in Sept. 2019. The dealer told me that the car had been fully checked and the paperwork they gave me says that an oil change was done. Hence I don't know what oil could be in there. Do the dealers put in vw50400 oil?

Hi, I am new to Kodiaq (1.5 TSI SE-L, auto, 7 seater), having owned a Karoq, briefly. I must say I love the car....but I have only had it for 24 hours. So, tried to go through the manual and I got tired after about one hour. I then had a play in the car, but I still have a few questions that I cannot find an answer to, so I was wondering if anyone here would be so kind to help. 1. I cannot seem to find what oil I should use. Planning long trip soon so I want to have oil with me. Does anybody know what oil I need please? 2. The manual doesn't shed any light on the MIRO (coming from caravanning and motorhoming...) and on the payload. Any ideas? 3. I noticed that I can select an option in the menu to "adjust" the front lights for driving on the right side. So I have just been out and tried to swap between left and right mode (pointing lights at my fence) and I can't see a great deal, to be honest. Does it really mean I can do without sticking the beam deflectors on when I go to mainland Europe? Thanks to anybody so kind to help! Anesta
