  1. Thanks for posting this - they are making a real song and dance about it at the dealership and have said I won't get the car back until Tuesday at the earliest!
  2. It's booked in for the software upgrade on Friday (23/10), but whether this actually fixes the problem remains to be seen...
  3. I've been given a case number and the promise of a call on Monday (19/10) - I'll post any response I get
  4. Thanks - I've done so and have been given a case number. Someone is supposed to get back to me within 48 hours, so fingers crossed.
  5. Has anyone with a CITIGOe iV Ambition SE (i.e. the base model with no CCS) managed to charge it at 7.2kW/hr? Normally 3.6kW/hr seems to be the maximum, but I read on another forum that a software upgrade to the BMS (whatever that is?) enabled this to be increased. Alternatively, can anyone give me a contact in Skoda (or main dealer) who actually understands the technical detail of battery charging? Many thanks!

I do agree with you Rod. Most of my driving is on minor country roads, and having a tug on the wheel at what appears to be random intervals is definitely not helpful!
  7. Hello Antognio, I have had mine for almost 1 month and have covered 400 miles, so it's very much early days. Overall I really like it and particularly appreciate 1-pedal driving. I use the 'B' setting all the time. There are some niggles - I don't find the lane warnings useful on minor roads (quite the reverse) so I have to remember to turn it off each trip. The rear view mirror presents quite a visual obstruction and there is no proper rest for my left foot. This is a strange omission as every other automatic I have driven has catered for this. However, at less than £0.03/mile I'm not complaining!
  8. When I ordered mine back in January I was told that only 600 would be available in the UK, but I think that included the demonstrators. Later I was told by the dealership that the reason for the limited number was that Skoda as a company had an overall emissions target it had to meet and a small number of Citigoe iVs enabled them to (just) meet it. When I test drove one it was painted as a demonstrator – I wonder how those eventually get sold? Mine has just arrived in the UK and I hope to take delivery next week.
  9. Good to see that some folks here have taken delivery of their iV. I placed my order for a SE on 30/1/20 (Order Number: 6779609) and am being advised 'early July'. When did you order yours, and when did you take delivery (or do you just have a delivery date/estimate)? I think the order book opened in November 2019?
  10. Greetings, Ordered a SE on 30th January and the dealer is quoting 'early July' for delivery. Good to read that some folks have had theirs for a while (I wonder when they ordered them?). I have made a start on putting together my own infotainment system based on a spare Moto G7 which will live in the car.
