  1. According to the internet you can permanently disable lane assist or change it to remember the last state. The drop down options are "not active", "active" and "last setting". I haven't had the time to let Skoda reprogram that, but it seems quite plausible for me.

  3. Since I can't edit my post (probably because I'm new): I added some sizes (there are now 20, 30, 40 and 50mm height increase) and some pictures of the thingy in use. Please excuse the bad quality, my mobile phone isn't the best.
  4. Sorry for the necropost, but google leads here. My girlfriend got a Scala and had the same problem, armrest too low for her. Since I got a 3D printer I designed a little thingy that you can put between the armrest and the console to raise it 4 cm (I will add some more heights to the link soon, as well as pictures). If you don't have a 3D printer or know someone that does there are 3D printing services online. Before printing you should check what height adjustment you need. If it's different to those on the link I posted I can easily change it for you.
  5. Greetings! As requested in the welcome post I'll introduce myself. I'm from Germany, learned car mechatronic (that's what they call mechanics nowadays over here) at a VW and Audi dealership and am now changing careers into engineering. I was lead here because of my girlfriend. She just bought a Skoda Scala and noticed that the armrest is not adjustable (quite a stupid choice by Skoda if you ask me). Googling that problem lead me here (though without a solution), so I made one and wanted to share it. Hopefully that can be a welcome surprise to some people.
