Mine is MIB 2.5. So the answer is clear. It is not possible. Still kind of bummer though.

I can understand that they would not allow Google Maps and Waze since they would need to sell their own maps and it seems logical that it would be a safety hazard if virtual cockpit would display text messages, but I’ve seen other cars that can display song info, even album art (particularly Audi and Honda).

Hi, Could not find if there was any discussion about this, but does song information (like song name, artist or album info) shows up in the virtual cockpit? For me just showing Apple Carplay If not, is there a way to add this?
