I guess they will paint the front left fender where there is that small crack. I dont think they will offer compensation. Of course it depends how far I will stress this. In terms of accepting it, I didnt check all the details upon accepting it. Some of these you need to sit and observe within the back lights etc. I am not an expert but the other cases where it seems the paint dropped I dont think it needs repainting. I will provide you some more photos as I don't see this paint thing being a huge issue.

Hi guys - no the alignment I guess it's clear to me: electric boots seem to have this "misalignment". regarding the paint job, to be honest I dont think it was damaged and repaired - if it was I dont think I'll ever find out. I talked to them and I will take the car in. I guess they need to file an official complaint to skoda for the zero post production inspection and in my turn I will file a complaint for the no PDI from their side. I can always shoot an email to skoda my self but I think at this stage I wont. I reside in Cyprus btw. Thoughts?

OK - the thing is, stock photos online show a similar picture to the one I see. e.g.:

since its aligned until one point, wouldnt that mean that adjusting the bump stops wont work?

yes the boot opens and closes just fine. it's the alignment I am concerned with as the photo I attached. just wondering if this is by design (as it's aligned from that point upwards).

So to other people owning a Karoq - does the boot door close firmly and aligned?

Hi all I just received my brand new Karoq and need your input on the following. 1. The car boot when closed is not firmly aligned - the dealer told me this is how it is (see photo) 2. There are obvious paint job deficiencies - I guess Skoda was in a hurry to deliver after the shut down. 3. There is a rubber extending on the rear right light
