  1. Planning to get ours updated in the next couple of weeks - according to the data never been done since new in 2016 Local Škoda dealer we bought it off is doing it for free so that’s nice. Be interested to see what the differences are & aren’t as we’ve had quite a few changes to the main arterials both north & south of us in the last 4 years. Of course this is little ol’ NZ we’re talking about so we’re probably not a particularly high priority for the map makers...
  2. Kia ora koutou (Hi everyone) New [used] Skoda Superb owner from Aotearoa NZ. The old 2005 Mazda 6 wagon got rear-ended. Very sad to write it off as it was a perfectly good runabout but the panel-beating wasn't worth the insurance. 🙁 That said getting in a newer car & realising how much everything has moved on in the last decade - WOW! 😎 New motor is a 2016 Skoda Superb 1.8 TSI Sedan; 75,000km on the clock. Massively impressed with the performance, handling & SPACE! - I'm a 6'4" yeti & even with the drivers seat set for me there's still room for me to get a full 2" of space between my knees & the front seat when I sit in the back. And I swear the boot in our "sedan" is actually marginally bigger the the old Maz wagon! Can just fit my pushbike in (with the wheels removed) without having to put the seats down. I'll admit I'm a little anxious about some things I've read about the DSG transmissions, but we're pretty smooth & relaxed drivers so hoping that should all be fine... With the state of the world at the moment a few quintessential Kiwi road trips to explore the country look much preferable to the overseas holidays of previous years, even more so with a very comfy car to enjoy them in. Looking forward to enjoying this car for the next 10 years or so. Ngā mihi mahana, Hamish
  3. Just started downloading the CW25 2020 update from the Portal Speedtest says I'm capable of 100MB/s download speeds (ISP Plan limit with Fibre & Ethernet hardwired to the desktop) Download is going at around 600kB/s... 😱 [What's going on at your end, Skoda??] 1GB down so far, only 4 to go... Ngaa mihi Hamish
