  2. Hello Guys, I bought recently a fresh looking 1.8T 2003 Octavia MK1 4x4 with ARX engine inside. A few weeks later, i noticed that the car started misbehaving so I visited the mehanic. The worst case scenario happened... he advised me that the whole engine should be changed, because the oil pump was faulty and the engine had been driven with no or lean oil, hence it is not worth fixing it part-to-part. I would be very happy if you could assist me if I can use any other engine that is bolt-on to ARX as this is not a very common engine code in Bulgaria. We compared it with AGU, however it is not an option as the differences are big, according to my mehanic. I am a car enthusiast, but I do not have a lot of knowledge in this situation, I only know that I can get engine from VW Golf, Audi A3, VW Bora and other Octavia MK1 😀 Could you, please, assist me in this issue, since I feel absolutely lost, especially when I know the huge amount of money I have to pay for this. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards.
