  1. Thanks! I will check with the VCDS and I will give a feedback about it.
  2. I forgot to tell, that the hydraulic tappets were replaced too. I dont feel like the car has less power. Everything seems fine except the consumption.
  3. Hi guys! So i drive a Skoda Octavia 2, 1.9 pdtdi with 210xxx km on the clock. The car was bought by us, back in 2007 brand new. I've been driving this car daily for 3 years now, for shorter and longer distances, so i know this car very well. Recently the car got a new camshaft and a different branded oil. (We used to put the Texaco Havoline oil in it but we changed to Motul) The problem is that after this procedure i get a comsumption of 9.5/10 liter per 100 kilometer in city and 6.5/7 on national roads. That was like 7 in ciy and max 5.5 on national roads. I checked the brakes and yeah one of the pistons was stuck so i fixed it, now works perfectly. The overall avarage dropped by a liter, but still this consumption is really high compared to the old one. I put the car on a Delphi tester, but the only fault code was a temporary code. A glow plug which does not work properly, but that does not have an influnce on the consumption. Does someone experienced the same thing, or could help me resolve this problem?
