  1. Octavia MK1 - Door Lock Failed & Deadlocked!

    Apologies for digging up this old thread but it's the top result in google for Octavia door deadlocked and I thought I would share what worked for me on my MK1 and potentially save someone quite a bit of hassle removing the door card. Operated the central locking from the button on the drivers door repeatedly, whacked the area where the locking mechanism is on the inside of the passenger door with a torque wrench at the same time.. door unlocked 😎
