EPC light + Start Stop error on brand new Fabia 1.0TSI
Cool. Coming from a software background, I'm going to attribute this to a glitch for now, but if it returns, I'm gonna call it some sort of hardware fault 😁

EPC light + Start Stop error on brand new Fabia 1.0TSI
As I was told, and this may be bull****, transport mode is whatever the car is set to when being transported. It shouldn't even run. It ran fine for two weeks, and was running fine, but the EPC light turned on randomly and actually turned off today while driving there. Sounds more like a glitch than them forgetting something, but in any case, it wasn't anything major.

EPC light + Start Stop error on brand new Fabia 1.0TSI
Update: Apparently the car had a glitch and the ECU thought it was in transport mode, even though it wasn't and was driving. They cleared the error and reconfirmed it wasn't in transport mode. all sorted.

EPC light + Start Stop error on brand new Fabia 1.0TSI
I called them and they told me to take it to a dealer since the vehicle runs normal.

EPC light + Start Stop error on brand new Fabia 1.0TSI
Hi everybody, Wondering if you can give me some quick feedback. I recently purchased a 1.0 TSI 95hp combi and it's been running like a dream. When I say brand new, I say it just reach 700km. Yesterday I turned it on and had the EPC light on, with my start stop refusing to work. The car doesn't seem to be running in safe mode, and there are no other errors / lights poping on. All lights are ok, every single system works as intended, and the fuse boxes dont show any blown fuses. Just wondering what else I could check prior to taking it in to the dealer to be checked. My theory is that the start stop is messed up and is triggering the EPC light, not the other way around. Thanks!

New member here! Happy to be part of the Skoda Family
Hi Everybody, I'm Simon. I'm happy to say that I will be, as of this weekend, a happy owner of the Fabia Combi, as I will be collecting mine! My story with Skoda does not start with this vehicle, though. When I had my driver license almost a decade ago, the first proper car I drove was a 97 Felicia with the old 1.9D engine (no turbo). This combi was absolutely mental, it's engine had the pulling power of a truck (with very low HP) and was a blast to drive. No fancy stuff like automatic from windows or AC, just engine pulling power and a lot of discomfort from its well worn seats. Truth is, this van still exists, even after, at one point, driving 30k km without as much as an oil change. That engine is battle ready, Nokia 3310 worthy, and is still standing strong, without being opened, after 400k km. Here's hoping that my new combi will last as much as that! For clarification sake, the Felicia was only under my usage for a couple of weeks, but I have very fond memories of it.
