Help...what have I done.
Thanks Superdreams, I am relieved to say all now sorted. I had checked what I thought was fuse 15 (central lights) and it was ok. On going back through the fuses in the daylight I realised that the image is mirrored compared to that on the fusecover and so I had checked the wrong fuse. Fuse 15 had blown and all is now back up and running once I changed the correct fuse (doh). Thanks for your help anyway. Loving my Superb mk 2 combi....it is the car thats keeps on giving. Bought as a family run about and I am so impressed. My main car is a Porsche 911 c4s and my wife has just had a new TRoc R. Both beautiful cars but I have to admit that the 52 plate Skoda with 75000 mls on the clock has become the weapon of choice for most occaisions. I think I am really way more excited than I should be about my Skoda.🤣

Help...what have I done.
Some advice please. I decided in my infinte wisdom after reasing a few threads on here to try to replace my boot lid interior lights on my mk 2 superb combi with some brighter led bulbs found on ebay (no flicker, no canbus faults etc.) 10 bulbs arrived and first of decided to swap all four lights on the underside of the doors. Swap went perfectly, easy to.swap, no dash lights. Not.much brighter but very white and clean looking. Decided to leave all the footwell lights as disnt want crisper brighter lights in the car as I think the footwells look ok with a warmer more subtle light. Next the interior boot. Got the light fitting out no issue and disconnected from the cable. Removed the metal case no issue. Fitted the bulb no issue and refitted the light. It didnt work and then noticed the other one was now off. I refitted the original bulb but now both are still not working. Then noticed that I had no working rear wiper and presumably the light sensor had and issue as the headliggts had come on in bright daylight. I checked all the fuses although the fuse map in both the manual.and underside of tge lid appear reversed and very hard to follow. Found no fuses blown but rear wiper and auto lights now ok. Tonight I drove the car to find no lights at all in.... Boot lid ( removable torch light ok) Interior lights and reading lights- front and rear Footwell front and rear Glove box Centre console Vanity lights behind both sun visors Illumination for drivers memory seat controls. I fear I may have shorted/blown something. Any suggestions. Tommorow I intend to swap all the lights in the bottoms of the doors back to the original bulbs but thinking that this didnt cause the issues as botg the interior boot lights were ok when I went to swap the which was after all the door lights had been done. Should have known better and left a sorted fully working car well alone. Any advice greatly appreciated.

New Superb owner -Nav advice
Hi, I have just purchased a lovely 62 plate Superb Mk 2 elegance estate. It is the 170ps 2ltr diesel with DSG and what a car. So impressed with the interior quality, spec and sheer space for passengers and load. I am new to the forum and apologise as it seems this is something much discussed previously but wanted an up to date opinion. Love the Columbus nav system, even the novelty of being able to play DVD's. It is showing HW H64 SW 4024 Map version 7690. In reality is it worth upgrading the mapping and or software and what would be the latest version that would work in this car. Many thanks in advance...there seems to ve some very knowledable people within this forum. Kind regards Dave.
