  1. Hi, I know this topic has been repeated a lot, and I know the first step is using VCDS to check the clutch switch and/or brake switch. But the cruise control isn't working on my 59 plated 1.9Tdi Fabia II. I'm currently struggling to find somewhere that has VCDS available that isn't a main dealer (and is currently open) which is near me. I'm also being a bit lazy in asking, would you expect to be able to start my Fabia without the clutch depressed? Because if that isn't expected/normal then it would also indicate that the clutch switch has gone. It's not an urgent issue, hence my inital laziness with it.
