I have no lights flashing. The only lights which is on is the ABS light but was told it is the sensor. the brakes are working fine.

Hi, I have a 2003 Skoda fabia 1.4 MPI and occasionally it won`t start. It cranks but won`t start. There are days when it works with no problem but there are days where the first attempt to start in the day is not a success. I have replaced the air filter, spark plugs and the coolant temperature sensor with no luck. I can hear the fuel pump noise every time I turn the ignition on but it won`t start. Please note I am not a car expert - I use google/youtube to diagnose and replace some parts. I don`t have professional tools.
