Hi all What's the must up to date version of Amundsen? I had a loaner Kamiq whilst mine was in for service that had a updated UI compared to mine?

Hi all What's the latest version for the Amundsen system? I've had the car since mid 2020 and was trying to get the Android Auto nav directions to come up I my virtual cockpit but to no avail. My software version is 0156, but it doesn't seem to update past this one? I had a loaner Kamiq today (whilst the car was in for service) on which it worked so I can only assume that it's because mine is running much older software?

I actually managed to fix this by myself. I did a factory reset, got the error - then I pressed and held the power button on the bottom left of the nav system, let it reset and that seemed to have done a proper reset. Logged in, activated and it all worked! Though I've now found out that Care Connect stuff like mileage etc in the app is also paid for and the care won't connect to the store :/

Hi all So out of the blue, our primary user profile deleted itself and the car removed itself from the Skoda Connect app. Tried to log back in, that didn't work for ages - then I could log in but I can't activate Skoda Connect. I either get an 'Unable to start app' on the display when I try and make myself the primary user, or it just keeps loading and does nothing. On top of that, when you try to factory reset, I get an error saying that 'system could not return to factory settings'. I'm a loss as to what to do here, other than ask my dealer to look into it - but given how they had no idea about the e-call recall, I'm not holding out hope!

Whatever you say mate 🙃 Apart from the fact that I've chated with my dealer who said no issue (and parts are listed as compatible on VAGs system), the mirror connection is pinned the same. Worst comes to worst, replace it with the original mirror 🤷‍♂️

Recent VAG cars seem to suffer from the same odd engineering decisions.... Designing a decent lane keep assist module is easy (like many manufacturers have). Two cameras, common mode signal. Any discrepancy turns off the system. It's not rocket science, Japanese manufacturers do it, why can't VAG? Also what would help is being able to control the intervention level from off, auditory/visual only, low, medium and high.

The literature I got from my dealer and Skoda UKs site was pretty explicit that Apple Car Play was wireless, but not android auto (I've got the SE-L/Amundsen). Doesn't really matter to me, plug it in, keep the phones battery topped off, which innevitably gets killed running navigation anyway 😅

Swapped it with a Superb mirror, auto dimming is still functional and looks much smarter. Other half prefers the larger mirror area too which was the original issue, so all in all not bad for £70! Should have been fitted as standard, no reason to not have them in 2020.

Seems to be a quite expesive upgrade over the SE-L for a panoramic roof, full LED lights, different wheels, some interior bits and you lose dual zone climate control....? Suprised they didn't add heated seat, rear camera and all around sensors. Odd equipment choice by Skoda 🙃

Hi all, new member hear! Took delivery of our quartz grey metallic SE-L a few days ago and loving it! That is except the rear view mirror, it seems unreasonably small, and made worse so by the large casing. Has anyone tried fitting any of the VAG frameless mirrors? Just curious, I thought I'd try the Superb one for ours!
