Number plate bulb
@Paws4Thot I thought they were specially greyed out, just so they wouldn't be too bright.

Number plate bulb
Hello, recently I discovered that one of the two bulbs (C5W 12V/5W) that illuminated the number plate had burned out. I bought 2 Philips C5W 12V/5W bulbs, I installed them, but I discovered that the original ones had a gray tint, while the new ones are clear (they don't have a gray tint). I thought that the gray ones were like that because they were old, but when I tried them, I saw that the light of the new ones (Philips) is a bit stronger and spreads quite strangely. I would be interested in buying two original bulbs, but from what I can see on this website: https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/n0177254-light-bulb-c5w-12v-5w-skoda-28435.html they also seem to be "clear", I don't see the gray tint in the picture. Does anyone have an idea if this is the correct code: N 017 725 4? To be even more clear, the Philips ones look like this: the factory ones look like this: Thank you!

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
Thank you very much!!! It is the same for LHD cars: the drivers side has no cover and on the passenger side the cover is present. Everything is clear now, the car is not missing any parts. From what I understood from the colleagues who posted in the first part of the topic (correct me if I'm wrong), the VRS version would have protections/coverings along the entire length of the windscreen grille. Could I put the covers from VRS on the non-VRS model? I saw that the screw on which the cover could be mounted is present on non-VRS model too.

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
If other owners of MK2 are around, please confirm/refute that there is only a partial cover.

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
yes, and in my case it ends up on the wiper motor from where it drains below. 🙄 I don't know if that's how it was designed or if I'm missing something.

@Rooted so the VRS version has more protections than non-VRS? @Breezy_Pete PM sent.

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
@Crucian do you have MK2, and you can't see your wiper motor through grille (mine is on the left side - driver seat - LHD)? neither left nor right?

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
So I'm not missing anything, is that how all MK2s are? yes, apparently water can reach the wiper motor (that can be seen through the grid) 😮

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
Thank you very much for your implication. My vehicle is LHD and I have the right cover (passenger side). The missing cover is the one that covers the wiper motor, and the one on the center, if the one on the left doesn't also extend to the center.

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
I have a Skoda MK 2 2010 (CHFA). Is something else needed?

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
I saw it, but it is for pre-facelift cars: "protective grille for the windscreen frame panel, under the torpedo, intended for vehicles manufactured until MY 2010 (pre-facelift)", i also receive: "This part does not fit your car."

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
it looks like that the grid comes without covers (https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5j1819403a-plastic-cover-for-under-the-windscreen-wipers-skoda-12792.html), I don't know how I could find them. ☹️

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
or does anyone know how I could find it? I looked for it on: https://www.skoda-parts.com/catalog/fabia-2.html but couldn't find it.

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
Thank you very much for reply. Is the picture taken at the grill on the left side (the one on the side with the steering wheel)? I also have it on the right side, but not in the center and on the left side. If it's on the side with the steering wheel, can you please check what code that component has?

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
Does anyone have a Skoda Fabia 2 they would check, please? It's the rainy season in my country and I'm afraid.

Windscreen protective grille missimg part?
Hello, Today I noticed that I can see through the grille (i see parts) under the wipers, on the right side but also on the center. Is this normal or is the car missing a part? Shouldn't there be another protection under this grille? I am attaching two pictures to better illustrate what I mean. Thank you!

Skoda Fabia 2 facelift Gear Lever mechanism
Hi and thank you for reply. I searched on YouTube to see how the gear shifter is changed and I saw videos in which the mechanism looks like in the first picture, and videos in which it looks like in the second (in the second picture it is not Fabia, but the mechanism is the same). My shifter cover came off, and I don't think if I try to glue it on, it won't hold, so I was thinking of changing it entirely. That's why I would be interested to know what kind of mechanism it has.

Skoda Fabia 2 facelift Gear Lever mechanism
Hello, Does anyone have any idea if the gear shifter (https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5j0711113mdoq-leatherette-gear-lever-handle-18250.html) on the Skoda Fabia 2 facelift (year and month of manufacture 12/2010) has the following mechanism: or it has this one: I would like to try to change it, and I would prefer the first option, but I don't know exactly how it is. A little help please? Thank you!

Fabia MK 2 max weight?
I was worried to not overload the engine with too much weight on the hills.

Fabia MK 2 max weight?
I would like to ask if a speed of 100 - 120km/h would be safe for the car / engine with the load I mentioned above?

Fabia MK 2 max weight?
Hello everyone, I am planning a holiday in the mountains in the next few days and I was wondering if there would be a problem for the car / engine (1.2 HTP) that we will be 4 people in the car (around 330 KG). I wouldn't want to "faint" the engine/car . What do you think? Thank you!

What's this part; can be replaced easily?
Thank you for replies! @Wino yes, the car from the photo is not mine. I found cat poop on that part.... and a few other parts.. it is very dry and I don't know if I'll be able to clean it, so I was curious to know if it can be changed relatively easily (when the engine warms up it smells like cat food in the car).
