Yes I tried that but no luck unfortunately.

I used the topdon carpal with their BMS reset feature where you input in all the new details of the battery.

So I changed my battery and coded it in. Since doing so though the leaving home lights won't operate. The switch is on Auto and the coming home lights work as should. Have checked in the settings and the timer is set for 20 seconds the same as the coming home ones. It in a dark area. I've cleaned the sensor on the window. Why isn't it working anymore? It's bugging me that I can't figure it out. Anyone else had this after a battery change? Thanks.

My car is due a new battery. The original is still in. The car is a 2013 MK3 2.0 TDI with start stop. Will the one attached be suitable?

I found someone that sorted it remotely for me. He's from London. MK retrofit on Facebook is his account. Really nice chap. Did speak to Pab about it and he said I could do it with toolbox but I wasn't really confident enough to give it a go.

Ok got the usb port down in the car. How do you do the clips on here to get it out and replace the old one?

Has any one got a video on how to remove the USB port to swap for a carplay one? Or clear instructions how to unclip it? I've got the screen and climate control off but can't figure out the clips holding the port in. Thanks.

Bled it earlier and it's made no difference unfortunately.

So I have put some fluid in. Pumped the clutch about 10 times and it held so managed to get it in gear. After a few times of putting it in gear I have to pump it again. I think maybe it needs bleeding. May be a possible leak straight down from where I filled it up but this could also be spillage so will look again tomorrow. Fluid level seems to be holding so far.

It's definitely the reservoir. Has dot 4 written in the cap.

Thank you. I think I'm just going to have to get it to a garage for investigation instead of trying to diagnose myself. Just assumed it would be the clutch as the symptoms of pedal sticking down etc are what others had, but if it's a leak on the braking system then I'd rather that got diagnosed. Thanks everyone.

So have looked for leaks etc but can't see any but my brake fluid reservoir is below min it seems. Brakes have been working fine. Shouldn't there be a warning on dash when it goes this low? So with this info would you say master cylinder or slave? Thanks again and for the replies so far.

Was hoping someone might be able to tell me if it's more likely to be master cylinder or clutch and slave cylinder that's the issue. Or a way I can find out. Pedal was sticking down but car still drove. Was sticking down at biting point. Bringing it back up manually by foot and pumping a few times helped a little. A week later and now won't go into gear and pumping the clutch doesn't help. Car is MK3 2.0 TDI with 105,000 on the clock. What's it most likely to be? Really appreciate the help.

I was wondering about this particular model not just any android head unit. This seems to tick all the boxes with easy installation, car menus retained etc and has good ratings but wanted a real opinion from someone that had tried it.
