So quick update. following all the advice I fitted a new battery on Saturday even though the current battery appeared to be fine and cold start was good etc. I checked all cabling around that area and the fuse box and all appears good. 200 miles later no warning lights or radio cutting out. Power steering is still a little notchy at times but it appears to be improving every day. I will update in a week or so and see how things are then. many thanks.

Hi all. I have a 2012 TDI 4x4 Elegance with almost 200,000 miles on the clock. Recently im getting intermittent power steering failures. it will go heavy on poor road surfaces for a split second. Also the radio cuts out and dash warning lights come on then reset themselves. Shes good as gold otherwise and im sure its a simple electrical issue but that's only if its easily found. Anyone come across this before?
