  1. So been out to her (its getting recovered by RAC home as she's still a good 20 mins away (and that's on the motorway which she obviously can't go on) Put the OBD reader on it and got this error (see attached) Cleared it and came straight back (ignore the one of two bit, the second one didn't come back) Refuses to rev above 2k, define full limp mode Guess this just means a duff injector (praying to God its not the harness else this car is going byebye!)
  2. She's just rung me on the way home and its barely doing 20mph, not sure will be able to get a look at it at this rate.......
  3. Hi all, first time poster but no stranger to forums (been on Club Polo for many years now!) This is concerning my wifes 2011 Fabia Scout Estate with the 1.6 TDI CR engine We've had issues with the EGR for a long while now, culminating in a brand new genuine EGR valve and boost controller in March as the previous replacement stuck open Its been fine up until today when the the dreaded yellow glow plug light started flashing again and limp mode engaged (whilst my wife was on the M40 no less!) I've not had chance to get my OBD reader on it yet but my question is why would the EGR fail again after 6 months? (bearing in mind she's not long gone back to work after working from home for nearly 4 months) or if its not the EGR then what else is it likely to be (though if it is the turbo this time, its being binned off) Thanks in advance
