  1. Hi The pins in the USB port of my Superb have become exposed and damaged as the plastic protector that covers them has (at some stage) become unstuck. The dealer won't cover them under warranty and is quoting me €174 plus labour to replace it. They believe it's user damage as oppose to a defect. I fail to see how we could have damaged the port by simply plugging a USB cable in and out of it - which is exactly what it's designed for. If the plastic pin protector/cover was installed correctly in the first place, it would have prevented plugging in a cable incorrectly and should not have become unstuck. Does anybody know a) the part number and b) how to access it to replace it. Attached is a photo. Thanks in advance
