  1. Hey mate, Hold down menu for 5 seconds and it will go into the service menu. Click the first option and will show you the part number.
  2. All good, and so you should be cautious. Nothing sorted yet, I shot Skoda Aus an email, but will take forever I'm guessing.
  3. The ver value has no changed on the content of the download.exe That's what I found strange. The file I sent you in the PM was a manually tweaked download.exe with the latest maps, but could be used to update future releases. There is extra information in the downloader.exe but the webservices it uses have all since been shut down. Still, it's a useful tool to unpack maps for the average joe. Wouldn't be hard to replicate for something more dynamic.
  4. I've compared 4 different map downloaders and they all are exactly the same, except the download URL for the maps. I was hoping there was dynamic signing for the maps against the VIN, but nowhere in the 4 examples could I find such a thing. The 4 I found were: http://infotainment-cdn.skoda-auto.com/base/downloaders/STD2_915_EU1_2018/Downloader.exe?ver=636797902467464786&extension=.exe http://infotainment-cdn.skoda-auto.com/base/downloaders/STD2_1030_EU1_201819/Downloader.exe?ver=636707742092136884&extension=.exe http://infotainment-cdn.skoda-auto.com/base/downloaders/STD2_1115_EU1_201920/Downloader.exe?ver=636797902467464786&extension=.exe http://infotainment-cdn.skoda-auto.com/base/downloaders/P49_N60S5MIBH3_ROW_NT_Q3.14/Downloader.exe?ver=635678976653582128&extension=.exe
  5. PM me, I can only do 1 per day. I don't think they want me posting links. I've just modded the Downloader.exe to point to the new URL's. Nothing fancy.
  6. Yeah, the download.exe is called Infotainment Downloader. Just changed the url it uses to the new one.
  7. Ok well I found another VIN through googlefu, same 2015 Scout, but they can download the maps through the updateportal. I'm guessing it's something they must unlock their end.
  8. Bugger. I might have to give skoda Australia a call tomorrow. But how helpful they will be another thing. And as suspected, same result from using the Infotainment Downloader.
  9. That link does mention the Jukebox feature that I have. They refer to the unit as a Navi System Plus?
  10. @Tell I don't get the 'Function enabling codes (FEC, SWaP)' option in the service menu. I've edited the Infotainment Downloader to use the new URL's, it's unpacking it now onto the USB Drive. I'll see how that goes but won't hold my breath. Downloader could be useful to others as does the download, formatting, and unpacking. But can understand people should be cautious, especially of a new user such as myself uploading stuff. I think you are on the right track through. Something preventing it from happening. I might have to pick up an ODBEleven and see if can enable developer mode?
  11. @Tell Thank's a lot for that. I figured there might be some kind of DRM on the maps, or something built into my firmware to stop these updates from taking. I'm 99% sure I'm doing the updates correctly onto the card. In the service menu it can see the updated modules ect, on the card, but the nav software update says can't find any updates. Formatted card FAT32, files in the root directory. No joy.
  12. Hey Guys, I've made a Mirror for those who don't want to wait forever for HIGH12_P88_ROW_202022.zip (Link removed) No matter what I've tried I don't appear to be able to apply this update. Tried multiple SD cards and USB drives, all with the same result. Any help would be appreciated
