  7. So no specific tyre then lol. In that case I'll fit anything half decent. Was just gonna restore it to standard.
  8. Since buying my mk1 vrs i have realised that they are brilliant cars. I have been offered another one in not so clean condition and a thinking of building another track car and wanted to know of any experiences other people have had with a vrs track car. It will be a full on track built. Wanna keep my yellow one original so need a another toy to play with. Cheers.

  10. That's nice and I'm happy to have one let alone 6 lol. I think there gonna be worth more original one day.
  11. I haven't checked them yet but thank you for the advice I will have a look as soon as I can.
  12. Hi I do need to check the o2 sensor with multimeter as that is a possibility. And the maf sensor on obd seemed to be OK on testing. I have checked the fuse box on the battery and it is perfect so no worries there, and also done a full battery and alternator test twice one first thing in the morning and on at the end of the day as thought battery was dropping over night. I have cleaned the throttle body and the maf sensor all 4 coil packs have been replaced. The only codes that came back up was 16514 and 17972. Just gonna go through and check all connectors and wiring and go from there. A lot of people say it's the maf causing the issue but we will see. Cheers for the reply.
  13. Hi my mk1 vrs has been brilliant until a few days ago when it started being a pain in the ***. First the asr light kept coming on and would go off when cycled the ignition and would return when it felt like it. But now it is being joined by epc light and also limp mode. I do get random fault codes. 17705 16486 16514 17972 I have been looking at this for couple days and can't come to a 100% answer, I have a few culprits In mind just wanna see if this is a common thing and anyone has come to a conclusion. Cheers.
  14. Let's see everyone else's.

  18. Swindon Wiltshire. Yellow mk1 octavia vrs.
  19. I have been looking about and can't find a definite answer so hear goes. I would like to repaint the calipers on my vrs as they are looking a bit tired and one of them is still silver. Can you still get the original colour for these is so where from and if not what are the alternatives. Cheers 😁
  20. Always liked the look of these and that one looks stunning.
  21. Wow cheers for the information I will look into the roll bars as sounds good as reali wanna keep standard right height. Had enough of lowered cars to be honest especially where I live. Thinking of just getting the best oem parts where possible as been told can use LCR top mount bushes too,and fabia vrs rear axle bushes so will probably be best friends with TPS soon lol.
  22. am I right in saying that you can use the solid rubber Bush from the audi TT as an upgrade from standard vrs ones.
  23. That sounds good to be honest. So super pro are better than powerflex for harshness I never new that I've used powerflex in the past on previous cars and they can be quite hard. Might look I to super pro cheers.
