  1. Hi forum, One thing (of many) that annoys me in my Octavia 4 is that it doesn't save the settings I prefer. Every time I need to stop the start-stop system and select the drive mode. In my Octavia 3 at least the drive mode was saved and the start-stop system was stopped from one single button. Now I need to press 'Set' button and stop the start-stop from the screen, then press another button and select the drive mode again from the screen. Definately not a quick get away car Is there a way to save my preferences or Skoda just messed this up? Best regards, Martin
  2. Hi guys, Do you know if it is possible to stop the ECO tips? I can't find it in the Settings. It would be best if the gear change display can be stopped too but I guess I'm asking too much Best regards, Martin
  3. Hi guys, So my previous car was Octavia 3 2.0TDI with 150BHP and now my Octavia 4 is 1.5 TSI 150BHP. Both with manual gearbox. Generally I drive diesel cars, but as the horsepower is the same I kinda expected the same dynamics from both engines. Maybe it is subjective but I feel like the petrol engine is much worse than the diesel. I drive pretty leisurely, but when I need to overtake I want to do it quickly and with reassuring push in the back when I press the gas pedal. But with the petrol engine it's just pathetic. I need to downshift at least 2 gears down and still it takes painfully long to feel any boost. I can't believe that some journalists call this engine quick and responsive. It's anything but. What's your experience with the engine? Maybe I just need to get used to the petrol engine. And rev it like an idiot for no reason, just to make it move. Who knows P.S. The drive mode selection makes no difference at all. Best regards, Martin
  4. Yes, I kinda noticed it before with my Octavia 3, but here it's much worse I feel. Anyway. I guess it's "normal" then.
  5. Hi guys, So I have my Octavia 4 for 6-7 weeks now and there are a few annoying things but I want to ask about one of them. I noticed that the fuel level indicator (on the right of the virtual cockpit) is very inaccurate. I know that the fuel tank is 45L and at one point I poured 30L petrol at the gas station but the indicator was showing that I have half a tank. And generally I drive for like 100 miles and the indicator still shows a full tank. Have anyone else noticed something like that? Best regards, Martin
