Hi all, My wife’s car has a very loud clunk on full lock or turning from the passenger side. It’s a Skoda Octavia 2017 1.4 sport. Sounds like the spring is having some resistance issues…will it be the top mount/bearing that is causing the problem? Phoned a few garages but can’t get in until about 10 days time. Will it still be ok to drive? Tried to take a few photos and gave it a spray with some gt40 hoping that might lubricate some up there 😂

I’m in the UK. I was thinking about a full service including spark plugs. Although I’ve heard they can be tricky to remove on the VAG engines. I’d rather not do the brake fluid but I have got a bleeding kit out necessary. do you all use genuine Skoda parts? Thank you, Rich Also what viscosity oil is the 1.4?
