  1. I've given up and have now ordered 2 strong black self-adhesive hooks to mount on the blanked-out side panels (which I think are used as rear seat releases in some models). If they have the same 3M adhesive that's used for dashcams they will be pretty strong. Thanks, everyone.
  2. Thanks, David, for responding. No, I meant the side rails which I've seen for sure in an SE and (I thought) in a L&K. Each rail - about 30-35cm long - has 2 sliding/lockable hooks - very useful for lashing bikes etc, which is what I want to do.
  3. Thanks, hadn't noticed it - so small! But could be useful.
  4. Thanks, very helpful! But how did you get 3 keys?
  5. Mine doesn't have these useful rails and sliding hooks but I have seen them on another 7 seater. Can anyone tell me where I can find them?
  6. My Kodiaq does not have the very useful boot rails and sliding hooks which some models come with. Is it possible to find parts and retrofit these? I regularly transport 2 folding bikes in the boot and the existing hooks are poorly placed for securing one folded bike at each side. Grateful for any help.
  7. Trusty local garage tells me they can't do it - safety reprogramming has to go to dealers. Will live with it. Dealers are an inconvenient distance and as others say can't be totally relied on to do exactly what you want. Good to have a range of responses!
  8. I don't have much confidence in my local dealers - and don't they get a financial reward for each emissions "fix"? I'm planning on ignoring this advice. Thanks for your feedback, though, interestingly diverse range of responses!
  9. I haven't had the emissions fix, either, my choice. I suspect that, if I take the car back to the dealer they will do a general software update and "fix" everything, which I don't want. Cynical part of me wonders whether this recall only went to owners who hadn't had the emission fix done. So I'm ignoring the recall while keeping an eye on the indicators! Local garage does an excellent servicing job. My Superb is an estate, 2015 SEL 170 DSG. Great car, after decades of BMWs.
  10. I've just had this safety recall - apparently if a front turn indicator fails the fault may not show up on the instrument panel. This doesn't look too serious. Annotingly I have to take the car back to a Skoda dealer for a software fix. Takes an hour. Anyone had it done?
