  1. Front Window Seal Failure

    Hi there, I have a 2018 Skoda Karoq and have noticed that the seals at the top of the doors has broken down. This is the seal the window retracts through when the window is lowered. It appears there was some kind of membrane rubberised finish on the upper surface but this has decomposed and now there are bits of foam like material breaking off. I have taken it to my local dealer who said it has disintegrated as a result of tree sap! I don’t park it near any trees however! I’m wondering if anyone else has seen this on their cars. Normally the seals are rubber.
