  1. Well I would hope you can! I seem to remember it took me a while in the Yeti to work that out as it seems to have a sub menu you have to go to.
  2. Thanks Rod Mines a 1.5 Dsg Edition with a few extra bits. I'm coming from a Yeti so will be interesting to see how I can get to grips with the infotainment!!
  3. I too have shaggy dogs - but a beige interior in the new motor (dogs in the wife's car!) Hopefully see the Karoq tomorrow and pick up on arranged date next week.
  4. I have to say that does look nice!
  5. Thanks. Never ever used the torch in my Yeti. I've gone for the beige also - any pics?
  6. So to update this thread I am told my new Karoq will be with the dealer tomorrow (Friday 2nd Oct) and will be ready for collection on an agreed date next week! My original documentation shows an order date of 11th July with an estimated delivery date of 30th Sept. Hopefully get a look at the car tomorrow when I go do the paperwork.
  7. Now been told by dealer that car will be with them this week for collection next week sometime .
  8. Hi Tim. Used Skoda live chat for an update. Car built week 38 and now at port of Emden awaiting a ship to be assigned. Stated this could take 7 - 10 days then once a ship assigned takes up to 2 weeks for ship to arrive UK.
  9. Thanks Tim I've heard nothing. Was that the dealer or an email from Sjoda please?
  10. Hi Tim. Mine was due to be built week 38 also - have you had a further update, I have not.
  11. Well well .... how on earth do you contact them now! As you say they don't respond and the 'contact us' tab on the website just takes you round in circles. Sorry I'm baffled now!
  12. I found the same problem when trying to contact DVLA let alone complain- which is why I finally found and used the Resolver website as indicated above.
  13. Recently ordered a new Edition being built week 38. I did ask if there were any alternatives to the crater alloys - told there was not. Was looking for a black or black/silver combination. Anyone have any different info?
  14. Hi. Applied to remove a private plate during the main lockdown period probably around May if I remember correctly- took 10 weeks for them to turn it around! I ultimately sent in a formal complaint and it was only then I got a response.
  15. I spoke to the dealer as all I had received from Skoda was that they had received my order. Be interesting to see when Skoda actually contact me again about the build. But good to know it's in progress - dealer also confirmed it's an MY21 build.
  16. I've now been told by the dealer my Edition will be build week 38 - with a suggested delivery of third week in October.
  17. Certainly seems a short wait for a new build- be interested to hear the final proposed delivery date.
  18. Hi Andy - about 12 weeks in all then -.seems about what they are saying. I did think the factory shut down in August though!
  19. Thanks. If I get any further info I will update the forum.
  20. Thanks. Interesting- I have just been told that a heated steering wheel is now standard on my new Karoq. Dealer seemed to think this was a good deal against not getting the finance offer! 😆
  21. Hi. I have exactly the same email with exactly the same progress. Let's hope they are as good as their word and keep us in the loop! What did your dealer say about the current 'offers' - which, if cars are not delivered till October, will no longer be on the table.
  22. This was a dealer update. I have received an email from Skoda staring that my order has been received - that's all.
  23. Ordered my new Karoq third week of July - been told today it will be at least end of October for delivery but nit been given a specific date!
