  2. Just an update for anyone who cares to know more. A day after the above post the check engine light came on and after being told it was an exhaust sensor and having that replaced by the dealer the same issue occurred, the car has been back with the dealer and has now been diagnosed with a faulty camshift actuator (hence the check engine light). Apparently as this has an effect on the timing of the motor the ACC and Start Stop Systems can't work effectively hence the error. Searching around this seems to be quite common on the EA888 Engine. I now feel comfortable that the real error has been detected and fixed.
  3. No not as yet, just researching what others have used and feedback good and bad. BTW yours look great, similar look to what I'm working towards.
  4. Are you running a rear sway bar, If so which one?
  5. Hi All, Looking for some information from those more experienced than me. So I picked up my new used 2016 S3 206TSI Estate/Wagon yesterday and everything was going well until I engaged the ACC. After only a few km it came up with an ACC error and switched off then displayed a Start/Stop System error. Any idea what might be causing this. I've just come from a 2016 Golf GTI 40 year (Clubsport) and the ACC would occasionally be unavailable but then come back on a short time later with no need for intervention but this is different. If I turn the car off then on again it resets but then the same issue just occurs again a short time later. Car is still under warranty so will be taking back to the dealer, but not the start I was looking for.
  6. Here is the new (used) girl I'll be picking up on the weekend.
  7. Besides the rear vents everything checked out ok and hopefully get to pick her up on the weekend.
  8. Very tasteful and effective mods.
  9. Thanks Chazzy, funnily the rear vents are damaged my son spotted them. Are these easy to fix? They do look quite flimsy I didn’t notice a torch but the brollies were missing and I’ve told the dealer “ no brollies no sale” and they’ve agreed to replace them. Everything else seems fine, having a pre purchase inspection done today and if everything is in the clear we’ll proceed. Thanks for taking the time to reply Chazzy and Bigman.
  10. Hi All, I'm the new guy. I've put a deposit down on a used 2016 Build 206TSI Wagon with 49K on the clock that was optioned with all the add on packs. I will be going ahead subject to inspection which is getting done on Monday. I'm coming from a Golf GTI 40 Year so am familiar with the drive train, however just not familiar with the individual quirks of a Superb and was looking for advice on anything in particular that I should look out for before proceeding . Thanks in Advance.
  11. Hey all, Newby here just introducing myself, put a deposit down on a used 2016 Superb 206TSI and came looking for some info.
