  1. Hello, i have a problem with a Skoda Octavia 3 2015. When i try to start the rear window defogger it stays on for a few seconds and it turns off. This problem appeared after my tailgate was replaced, i've tested the defogger if it is interrupted and it's not, and also tested the relay and it’s good. I also directly powered the relay and the defogger it’s working, so the BCM it’s not engaging the relay. Before the tailgate replacement all was working perfectly I have found this error in VCDS Thursday,17,November,2022,20:05:45:00009 VCDS Version: Release 22.3.0 (x64) Running on Windows 10 x64 www.Ross-Tech.com Address 09: Cent. 2. Hello, i want to install in my mk3 an ambient light kit, but not the oem one, i have bought an universal kit and i want to know where is the best place to wire the modules, because i heard that if i wire it on the footwell it will not work, and also in the doors someone told me to wire the module from the window motor, could you guys give me some advices?
  3. Ok so i’ve managed to test the wires from the relay to the rear window and all is good. I’ve made a bypass to the relay and powered the defogger directly and it’s receiving 12v, so i’ve got to the BCM or the climatronic button not sending the impulse to the BCM but i don’t have any diagram for it so i don’t know how to test it more.
  4. i will remove the trims and try to check the cables. i also played with the values of that deviations and if i set it on a lower value, 0.2 for example it’s not stopping the test but it’s turning the relay very rapidly on and of, and also with a higher value of 0.8 it’s turning on and of at a lower rate But i’m concerned about that error because i know that it wasn’t there before the repair and i think it’s something between control units communicating or something
  5. Hello, i have a problem with a Skoda Octavia 3 2015. When i try to start the rear window defogger it stays on for a few seconds and it turns off. This problem appeared after my tailgate was replaced, i've tested the defogger if it is interrupted and it's not, but i've found that it's not receiving 12v from the relay, which is also good because i've also tested it. What i have found with VCDS is that i have an error in Cent. Electric which appears every time i clear it, with the VCDS test in Basic settings the relay is engaging but it stops after one click and says Aborted due to malfunction. What could be done? 6. I will check it, but i still need to find the check engine cause. I'm thinking it might be the air sensor?
  7. But this can be a cause of this particulate trap bank 1 error code?
  8. I will check it, because I had already been with the car enough to heat up until the check engine lit, can it be a reading error?
  9. Hello, i have a skoda octavia 3 from 2015 and a few weeks ago the check engine light turned on, i've checked it witch vcds and i saw the error P2002 Particulate Trap Bank 1 - Efficiency Below Treshold. I cleared it and after few days appeared again. This time I went to a service where they took down the particle filter and sent it to a company that cleans particle filters. After cleaning they installed it and after a few days the check engine light appeared again with the same error and I still get error, even if I clear it again and again. Here is the vcds log:
